something we have been thinking about lately, I miss the sense of community there was on old dA. Like it would be so easy to just note up some random nobody guy you've never heard of before who made pictures you liked and be all like "I love your art wanna do an AT?" and they'd be like yeah and then you'd be friends from there in most scenarios. Everyone online nowadays (past couple years) is always just so defensive over nothing and reading way too much into everything, I mean, there's always been people like that yeah, but nowadays it feels like nearly everyone online you talk to has like 500 walls up. Nobody feels comfortable just PMing or asking to be friends with randos anymore and it makes me feel sad, to me the magical thing about the internet was just being able to message any old random Joe you think has a cool profile and ask them to be your friend, it was like a lovely jungle of people, now it's like people are just so defensive and always assume you are acting in bad-faith and won't even look in your direction unless they've seen you somewhere. Idk it just makes me sad. I wish when people weren't so distrusting over nothing and didn't let social media warp the way they view their artwork
